Talking to Children About COVID-19 (Coronavirus)
If you are experiencing symptoms (cough, fever, trouble breathing), may have had contact with a person with COVID-19, or recently traveled please call before coming in. We will connect you with a nurse that can help evaluate your risk and symptoms, allows us to schedule appropriately, protect you, your families, other patients, and employees.
We have set up prescreening areas in front of the buildings in an effort to minimize exposure to staff and patients inside the building.
Patients with scheduled appointments should call before coming in to determine if their appointment can be handled by phone. We will be providing prescription refills by phone.
All community meetings and events hosted at any of our locations are canceled indefinitely. This is per California governor’s order to cancel all gatherings. This includes, but is not limited to, senior groups, AA, healthy living, and Smart.
Patients need to avoid bringing family members or extra people to their appointments to limit risks to patients, staff and the public.
¿A quién se examina?
Patients presenting symptoms including fever, respiratory symptoms, and exposure through travel or contact as well as a test negative for influenza may be tested at health care provider’s request.
Pedimos a los pacientes que permanezcan fuera y llamen o toquen el timbre para que puedan ser triados y examinados sin exponer a los pacientes ni al personal.
¿Seguiremos viendo pacientes?
We have established Well and Sick sites to minimize exposure.
We are also providing telemedicine options for patients’ visits and continue to see emergency dental patients at our Escondido Date dental location.
