Dr. Shantrice Williams was born and raised in San Diego and enjoys surfing, swimming, hiking, and traveling. She is enrolled in the Academy of Integrative Medicine Fellowship Program and deeply interested in holistic medicine and patient/staff wellness. Dr. Williams is passionate about delivering excellent, patient-centered medical and mental health services to underserved members of her community. She also values the opportunity to collaborate across multiple disciplines and uses her education, expertise, and creativity to guide her patients toward wellness.
Raquel Guardado-Soto, PhD, enjoys hiking, spending time at the beach, and being with her daughter, husband, and friends. She loves traveling, learning new things, reading, arts and crafts, going to tea with friends, and enjoying pool time. She also finds it incredibly rewarding when her patients’ quality of life improves.
Dr. Heidi Miller Brunetto has three children under the age of ten. Her husband is also a psychologist, working in a forensic setting. They live near Descanso in the mountains, where they have farm animals, including horses, sheep, and chickens. Dr. Miller Brunetto and her family love the outdoors, hiking, and anything in nature, and they enjoy traveling often.
The most rewarding part of her work is offering a safe space for individuals who may not have that elsewhere and seeing them gain understanding of themselves and their experiences. This newfound understanding helps them move forward in a healthier way, letting go of old habits, behaviors, and unhealthy ways of relating.
Andrea Vallez-Barlam, PhD, enjoys spending time with family, exercising, practicing yoga, gardening, and traveling. She is passionate about making a positive difference in her patients’ lives.
Dr. Zulma Curet enjoys running, traveling, and spending time outdoors. She is passionate about creating trusting relationships with her patients and their families to help them meet their healthcare needs.
Vanessa Cobian, MD, is a big sports fan, especially of the Lakers, Chargers, and Padres. She also loves musical theatre and visiting Disneyland with her family. Vanessa Cobian, MD, is passionate about teaching and continually improving her leadership and educator skills. She values continuity of care and enjoys seeing her patients persevere and succeed in improving their health and lives.
Trang Louie grew up in a large family of seven children. Her family escaped from Vietnam on a small boat, enduring a nine-day dangerous voyage to seek a better life. She is grateful for where she is today. Trang loves traveling, going to the beach, trying new adventures, and spending time with family and friends. She enjoys watching Chinese dramas and trying new cooking recipes in her spare time.
Therese O’Neill was born and raised in California. She earned her nursing degree at California State University, Long Beach, and began her career as a Registered Nurse in the Obstetric unit. After having the opportunity to work with nurse-midwives, she knew she had found her calling. Therese earned her midwife credentials at the USC School of Medicine, completed her master’s degree at the USC School of Nursing, and is credentialed through the American College of Nurse-Midwives.
Therese has been blessed to work with mothers and babies for 27 years, empowering women to make educated choices about their care. She currently lives in San Diego with her husband and two children. Therese enjoys spending time with her family, hiking, seeing movies, and visiting the local beaches in her free time.
