Neighborhood Healthcare is proud to announce that we have received a $5,000 grant from Hunter Industries. This generous funding will be used to purchase a RetinaVue 700, a hand-held retinal screening device, to enhance the capabilities of our Virtual Care Team (VCT).
The RetinaVue 700 is advanced medical equipment that provides high-quality retinal imaging without the need for dialation. This technology is crucial for early detection of diabetic retinopathy, a leading cause of blindness among adults. This grant will enable Neighborhood to provide retinal screening on site, thus removing barriers to care, and ensuring more patients are up to date on their retinal exams, and improving their health and well-being.
Neighborhood is grateful to Hunter Industries for their continued support and commitment to improving the health and well-being of our community. Providing the RetinaVue 700 for our Virtual Care Team will allow us to conduct timely and accurate retinal screenings, ensuring our patients receive the best possible care. Neighborhood has been at the forefront of community health initiatives, continuously striving to bring advanced medical technologies and services to underserved populations. This grant supports the organization’s dedication to innovation and quality care.
Together, with the support of partners like Hunter Industries, we are making strides toward a happier, healthier future for all.
