Neighborhood Healthcare is excited to announce that Delta Dental Community Care Foundation has awarded us a $100,000 grant towards establishing a new Dental Health Center at 910 E. Ohio Ave. in Escondido.
We will use this vital funding to procure essential equipment needed to open a fully-functioning Dental Health Center. Neighborhood Healthcare aims to improve community health through access to better healthcare. The opening of the new Dental Health Center at Ohio will ensures we can provide access to high-quality dental care for more individuals in the community who face barriers to care.
Our new Dental Health Center will significantly enhance dental care services in Escondido. This will be the first Neighborhood Dental Office with a designated area for trauma-informed pediatric care. It will include 16 Operatories, with eight designated for Pediatric Dental Care and eight for Adult Care. It will allow us to provide specialy care on site for patients needing access. And having this facility will help us provide dental care over 11,000 individuals in Escondido in just a year.
